Adobe Photoshop CS6 beta available

Adobe released the new beta version of its popular photo/image editing software. Adobe Photoshop CS6 is available for free download at Adobe Labs

New version includes several major enhancements like new “Dark” interface, “Content-Aware Patch” that allows you to easily work with objects and backgrounds. Adobe also promises fast performance and new design tools.

 

Angry Birds Space available for download

Rovio released new game in it’s extremely popular Angry Bird Series. Angry Birds Space is available for download for all major platforms like iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad as well as Windows Phone,  and Android (Google Play and Amazon Market).

Microsoft Windows 8 will be released October 2012 for both tablets and PCs

Microsoft targeting for October 2012 as a possible release date for it’s new operating system Windows 8. New OS will be released for all devices such as tablets, laptops,  and personal computers. Windows 8 will support both Intel and ARM CPUs.

Adobe releases Lightroom 4 and cuts the price $150

Adobe just released the major update to its digital photography management and editing software Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. The new version has a lot of new and improved features especially to the image processing area.  It has better highlight and shadow processing, better video support, geo-tagging and much more. The most surprising twist is that new version costs $150 less : $79 as an upgrade or $149 new.

Apple announces new iPad

Most of the recent rumors were true:

The name is just iPad, not iPad 3 or iPad HD.

Apple: Post presentation activity

Some things that happened today and following the new iPad and Apple TV presentation.

- iTunes 10.6 is now available for download. It includes support for new iPad and 1080p videos

- IOS 5.1 and the whole bunch of updated applications like iBooks, Remote,  and iTunes U. The major change it support for the new high resolution retina display in the new iPad.

- New 4G LTE Plans for new iPad from ATT and Verzion. ATT will have $15 for 250MB, $30 for 3GB and  $50 for 5GB. Verizon will offer $30 for 2GB, $50 for 5GB and $80 for 10GB.

Android Market will be replaced with Google play

Google is launching a new platform that will be named Google Play. This will be a change to the current Android market that will give the more clear ability to sell digital content such as Books, Movies and Music, not just apps.

Books, Music and Videos apps will now become Play Books, Play Music and Play Movies, while the Android Market itself will be renamed to Play Store. Android 2.2+ should get the software update within the next few days,  but initial release will not have any new features other then name change.

Apple will continue to sell 16GB Wi-Fi iPad 2 for $399

In addition to the new third-generation iPad available starting at $499, Apple will continue to sell the iPad 2 in a 16-gigabyte Wi-Fi-only model for at $399. This is a $100 price drop.
